As a client you can be assured that our kind and supportive carers are experienced in caring for your unique needs. Our standards are demanding and we personally assess care staff for their personality, skills and qualifications. We take up personal interviews, comprehensive references and also enhanced police checks.
Our carers undertake the company’s comprehensive training programme and also attend mandatory on-going training to develop and update their skills. Our training sets out the high standards expected of carers and includes safe and best working practices.
Who are your carers?
Your carer will be local to your area and have been fully trained by City Care Services training team. They will also possess an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check certificate. We offer male and female carers and if you have a preference you can let us know as we develop your programme of care.
“I looked after my father when he was ill, and then got made redundant which spurred me to take up a role as a carer. I love to hear the stories that my clients tell and every day is interesting. Time passes quickly and I thoroughly enjoy my work! I think it is very important for people to remain in their own homes for as long as they wish. It is rewarding to know that you are always there for a client and can support them on a daily basis to improve their quality of life. When I care for a client I see a positive effect on their wellbeing and this gives me real job satisfaction.” Robbie, a carer for four years.
